PASTOR WILL MAROTTI, Headmaster
ANN MAROTTI, 4th Grade Co-Teacher
Pastor Will and Ann were both born and raised in the Meriden / Wallingford area. Together, they co-founded New Life Church, Carver Preschool, and Carver Academy. They have been married for thirty years and have two children. They both share a passion for Christian education and the proclamation of the Gospel.
KIM DUCHESNE, PreK-4 Teacher
PreK-4 Teaching Assistant, Extended Care Teacher
Mrs. Duchesne holds her Master's degree in Elementary Education degree from Southern Connecticut State University with 15 years of classroom teaching experience in 1st and 3rd grades in public schools. She also has experience in public schools working in a variety of roles. At Carver Academy, she is a veteran PreK-4 teacher.
Mrs. Lavigne has a BA in Criminology from CCSU and is obtaining her Master's in National Security with a concentration in Information Protection. She is also a veteran in her position working with Mrs. Duchesne and PreK-4 students.
DR. BREANNA CRAFT, 1st / 2nd Grade Teacher
SARAH WALL, Teaching Assistant
Dr. Craft completed her Bachelor's in Forensic Science and Chemistry in 2007. She then earned a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry in 2015. While at Wesleyan she was awarded the Tishler Teaching award in 2012 for the best graduate teaching assistant. She served at Carver Academy as an Assistant Teacher and Science Teacher for two years prior to accepting her teaching position for the 2016 / 2017 school year.
Ms. Wall is currently attending Middlesex Community College working toward her Elementary Education degree. Ms. Wall began with Carver Academy in 2015 as the Extended Care teacher before accepting the Assistant Teacher position in 2017 / 2018.
CARRIE BECKLEY, 5th / 6th Grade Teacher
KATHIE VAZQUEZ, 5th / 6th Grade Teacher
Mrs. Beckley is a veteran teacher who worked several years at West Woods Christian Academy teaching 6th grade with experience in 5th grade as well. She has her teacher certification through ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International). She also worked as a paraprofessional in Special Education 7/8 grade in Middletown Public Schools for 2 years and has taught in Children's Church for the last 14 years. Mrs. Beckley brings a solid foundation of classroom management and passion for teaching and learning to the 5th and 6th grade class and we are blessed to have her working at Carver Academy this year!
Mrs. Vazquez earned her A.S. General Education with honors from HCC, her B.S. and teacher certification from SCSU in Special Education with a minor in Communication Disorders, and has earned CEUs with ACSI. Mrs. Vazquez taught several years in public and private schools primarily with Learning Disabled and Autistic students. More recently she taught several years at West Woods Christian Academy in 5th grade, Junior & Senior High including Spanish, and K-6 music. Mrs. Vazquez has been working as a church organist/choir director over the past 30+ years. Her passion is to model the love of Christ in her teaching and to assist struggling learners.
PASTOR KRIS BELLEMARE
Pastor Kris holds his Master's in Elementary Education from the University of Bridgeport, and he has held intern & substitute teaching positions in the Meriden & Bristol Public School districts as well as spending a year as a Title 1 reading tutor at John Barry Elementary school.
Mrs. Gable holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Central Connecticut State University, along with Connecticut Teaching Certification in K-6. She brings an attitude of love and excellence and is a fantastic asset to our team this year!
HEATHER BEAR, 3rd / 4th Grade Teacher
ANN MAROTTI, 4th Grade Co-Teacher
Mrs. Bear holds a Bachelors of Science in Social Studies/Education, Grades 7-12. She has worked with the Meriden Board of Ed as a Paraprofessional as well as a Behavior Technician, where she worked with children with autism. She also worked for the Family Resource Center, preschool program, within the Meriden Board of Ed as a Preschool Teacher for two years prior to accepting her teaching position at Carver Academy for the 2017 / 2018 academic year.
Mrs. Marotti has brought consistent excellence in her role as an assistant teacher at Carver Academy for several years and taught 4th grade Math and Language Arts in the 2017 / 2018 school year.

Toured and/or recorded with Jaci Velasquez, Sandoval Band, Salvador, Freddy Rodriguez, Juan Carlos Alvarado, Rita Springer, Promise Keepers Conference and many others.
SONYA ESBER-POLINO, Administrator
Mrs. Esber-Polino is a graduate of California State University, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
